For owners and managers of WordPress websites in Surrey, Steady Digital offers WordPress help and ongoing support. Simple WordPress website maintenance plans help provide peace of mind for busy website owners so they can get on with their business or other important daily activities. I have been working with design studios and businesses of all sizes in Surrey for over 15 years. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of organizations in Surrey, including solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, printers and designers, and even an Olympic project for the city.

About a 30 minute drive from Vancouver, Surrey is the 2nd largest city in BC and the 12th largest city in Canada (pop. almost 500,000). The city is growing rapidly. By 2020, Surrey will likely be the most populated city in Metro Vancouver. Like Vancouver, Surrey is one of the most culturally diverse cities in Canada.

But Surrey is not all urban sprawl. It is actually known as the “City of Parks” due to its 6000 acres of parkland and green space. You will also find excellent shopping, outdoor activities, and accessible transit serving the many communities of Surrey. There are actually six main communities that make up the city of Surrey: Cloverdale, Newton, Guildford, Fleetwood, South Surrey (near White Rock), and North Surrey.

Agriculture is also a very important part of Surrey’s economy. In fact, over one-third of the land in Surrey (or 9,290 hectares) is within the Agricultural Land Reserve, a provincial zone in which agriculture is given priority designation. Surrey farms accounted for over 22% of the total gross annual farm receipts in Metro Vancouver in 2010.

Arts and Culture is a big part of life in Surrey, home of the Surrey Art Gallery, the Surrey Museum, the Surrey International Writer’s Festival, and a vast array of theatres, cultural festivals, and music.
